Eisa recalls his most poignant memory of IOK as a place that taught him balance. “IOK is a platform that ensures a student receives extensive Islamic education without hindering one’s academic education. Not many students get to say they had a lesson in biology followed by a lesson in Fiqh class.” He credits his teachers as being not just instructors, but also mentors who helped guide him and his peers in their day-to-day lives and make IOK his second home. IOK still remains an important factor in his life as he continues to finish his Hifdh with his former teachers. He recalls his most memorable experience as his Senior trip with his fellow classmates to perform Umrah together. Eisa was an active participant in the IOK debate team where he went onto compete in the nationals tournament. He now considers debate his life-long passion.
